Water is a common and mandatory ingredient for the entire task. Water has a very crucial role in ensuring the final the outcome is perfect. There have to be many additions of water so as to emulate the softness and hardness of the beer.

Sugar is mainly considered due to various reasons. First, it has the capability of changing the alcohol level in a beer. It also alters the taste of the beer when added and ensures that all the yeasts have ferment properly. At times the priming sugars are applied when bottling as they can add carbonation in bottles.
