The Different Types Of Florida Meat Smokers

By Mark Morris

Are you new to the wonderful world of BBQ? If you're a novice when it comes to using a smoker to produce fantastic meals, here are three tips that have helped countless novice pitmasters to get the most from their Florida meat smokers.

Cylindrical water are commonly most recommended to the users of smoker that are having their first time to make or do smoking process; this type of smoker is easy to use and is affordable. This type of smoker uses a water pan placed directly above the heat source to provide moisture to the meat so that it doesn't dry out during or after the smoking process. This type of smoker is already affordable but there is another kind of this type that is more affordable. This is the cylindrical water smoker that is made of porcelain-coated steel or powder-coated steel.

When there are hundreds of BBQ smokers for sale to choose from, how do you know which one is the right one for you? Asking yourself 1 simple question can help you narrow your search: What fuel do you prefer to use to in case you were to smoke one yourself?

Another type is the horizontal dry wood smoker. This type appears as a bigger and a smaller barrel that is connected or attached to each other. The smaller barrel is the firebox and has a small opening that allows the smoke and heat to enter the larger cooking area and cooking the meat directly.

The Sauce isn't the Boss. There's a fairly popular commercially available BBQ sauce that proclaims, "The Sauce is the Boss!" on every label. That's not really true when it comes to making great BBQ. In fact, the best "Q" won't even need a drop of sauce to be tasty. You want to create meat that will stand up on its own merits and to utilize BBQ sauce as an accent to bring additional flavor to the food. Those who rely on sauces to cover up mistakes or to impart flavor to otherwise bland meat aren't really using their meat smoker the right way.

Charcoal takes the most effort, but arguably also produces the most authentic barbeque taste. Once you make it through the learning curve, your charcoal favorites will give you years of great BBQ, but again, there is a learning curve, and it can initially be frustrating to smoke using this method. It is also noting that the type of fuel used will determine the taste and appearance. If not carefully smoked, charcoal ones may get charred.

So, where do you find a great smoker for a great price? It is really easy to find a great deal on any smoker online, but it does take some time and patience. Start by running a Google search for your type of smoker accompanied by words like "cheap" or "sale". Google will return hundreds of results for you to sift through and compare, and with a little work, you will almost certainly find your choice at a price you will be happy with.

Internet stores serve huge markets and have low overhead, putting them in a great position to be able to offer sales and discounts and even lower base prices than physical stores can afford to. They deal in volume, and can often offer perks like free shipping as this barely makes a dent in their bottom line. Finally, the biggest sites may have easy and quick access to additional stock - and when supply is high, prices are lower.
