How To Cook Shish Kebab In The Best Way Possible

Hosting a party can be very stressful especially when you have nothing in mind to serve your guests. You would want something that everybody would like as there are different preferences when it comes to food. In this aspect, you can never go wrong in adding a Shish Kebab on the list.

In marinating the meat, you should use a cooking plastic. There should be not a hint of air inside the plastic. Marinated food, whatever they may be should be stored in the fridge to avoid making the marinate a breeding ground for bacteria. Leave it for thirty minutes at least. If you want to marinate it longer then you could do so. This will make the seasoning penetrate deeper into the dish for flavoring.

The dish should also look as presentable and as tasty as possible. Adding a little bit of color by skewering some fruits or vegetables in would make the presentation nice. But before adding these ingredients, you should first parboil it.

The appropriate size of the meat should be around 1 or 2 inches depending on what you like. Uniform cuts would make all of them cook evenly. Putting a little oil over the dish before you roast it would also help so that it would not stick to the griller.

You do not have to be elaborate when hosting a party. Simple dishes that are well prepared are sure to make a statement to your guests. If you want to go for cheaper alternative of the metal skewer, you can have wooden sticks instead. You just need to put them in luke warm water to make sure that they would not catch fire.
