Delicious And Luxurious Champagne Chocolate Truffles

Champagne chocolate truffles were first made by Adolf Teuscher in 1947, but they still amaze with incredible complexity of tastes. Sweet and delicate combination of the highest quality, aromatic, dark chocolates and luxurious golden champagne is ideally balanced and really makes the first grade gastronomic pleasure you should not miss.

Originally, this dessert had a sweet champagne filling hidden in rich and smooth dark chocolate ganache, surrounded with milk chocolate layer and dusted with sugar. Today, numerous recipes exist, and some are trying to re-create the original, while others create new and exciting stories. All similar attempts are quite tasteful, and you won't make a mistake if you try some of them.

Sometimes you will find beautifully shaped truffles, but originals are always hand-made, and irregularly shaped, just like the real truffles. White or dark or even milk chocolates are always so tasteful, especially in this lovely combination. Some truffles are even decorated with eatable gold, and they really make highly luxurious desserts.

Some complicated recipes are quite difficult to make at home, and some are really simple, but still tasty. You can add cognac, white chocolate, olive oil instead of butter and many other ingredients there, it all depends on your taste and imagination. If you have some experience in making sweets, you could create your own recipes.

One simple way of making very tasteful similar dessert require tree hundred grams of dark chocolates, preferably with at least eighty percent of cocoa, one hundred milliliters of champagne and fifty grams of good quality butter. You can add some sugar if you like sweeter desserts. Add sugar in the wine and reduce it in half. Melt chocolates in it and add the butter. When cold, make irregularly shaped balls and roll them in powdered sugar.

Another interesting recipe is more like the original. You need to make champagne cream first. Add some sugar in the vine and reduce it on low heat. Mix some butter with a little bit of powdered sugar, add cold reduced vine and deep freeze the mixture. Melt your favorite dark chocolates with a little bit of cream on steam. You should get a thick paste when cold. Form little balls from frozen mixture and wrap it in dark paste. Roll each ball in powdered sugar.

You can use milk chocolate instead, but dark one is more aromatic and much healthier. This dessert is rich, smooth and full of calories, but extremely delicate and luxuriously tasteful. You will certainly enjoy every single bite. Highest quality truffles are always hand-made, and they are not cheap. Nevertheless, it will be wisely spent money, and you certainly will not regret it.
