These practices involve making sure food is stored at the correct temperature and having a germ free kitchen environment. This reduces the chances of consumers experiencing food poisoning.

Training of staff who are employed in the food industry is important. This training should include teaching staff about storing food at the right temperature. Other teaching points include making sure utensils used such as knives are cleaned after use. Chopping boards and other kitchen aids should be thoroughly washed often. Food contamination can be avoided by training staff on how to keep certain foods separate in order to keep prepared foods germ free.

Visiting an eatery and observing that the environment is clean, the waiters or staff are professional, knowledgeable about the food served and courteous makes good business sense. Places serving food always need repeat patrons and having a pleasant time and good food helps make patrons revisit.

Many people are patrons of food related eateries. Some partake frequently, others on occasion. Consumers have varying food tastes. Some have seafood preferences while others are meat lovers. Vegetarians also abound. Staff involved in the preparation of food, which is served to the public, should be schooled in good hygiene practices. Repeat patrons most likely have experienced a pleasant atmosphere and good food which was to their likening.
