About The Best Seasoning For Bloody Mary

Everyone knows about Bloody Mary. This widely popular cocktail made of vodka and tomato juice is simple and complex at the same time. You can add so many different spices in there, and some are more common than others. For example, you can usually find Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and pepper in there, with some salt and celery, but some use more complex seasoning for Bloody Mary.

This popular cocktail is usually made using three parts of vodka, six parts of tomato juice and one part of lemon juice. The glass should be dashed with Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper, and filled with ice cubes. The mixture should be poured over ice, stirred gently and served with celery stalk. It is often garnished with a piece of lemon wedge as well.

This simple but complex cocktail has really great reputation as a cure for hangovers. Well, vodka won't contribute much, but other components might help, thanks to anti-oxidants and electrolytes, and liquid, of course. It is not known who invented this drink, but its popularity is undeniable. At first, it was vodka and tomato juice only, and today more interesting versions are widely popular.

Beef consomme can also be added in some versions, although these aren't so popular as the original one. Red, black and cayenne pepper, olives, Tabasco and piri piri sauce are more common ingredients. You can use regular sea salt or special brands, but restaurant style Bloody Mary is always a good choice, especially if you want to serve it to your friends.

The exact combination of necessary ingredients isn't always easy to achieve in your home. You can experiment with your favorite spices, or you can use prefabricated seasoning mixtures. Together with already prepared rimming salts, they are made of all-natural ingredients to provide that authentic restaurant taste you want to achieve. Your cocktails will always be perfect, with so little effort.

One of the most popular prefabricated mixtures is the classic one. It contains Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, pepper, garlic and horseradish. Season your tomato juice and vodka drink with this mixture, pour it over several ice cubes and add a celery stalk. You can add as much as you want, if you would like to achieve more intensive aroma and taste. There are some other mixture available, if you prefer more exotic tastes.

Another good thing to have in your fridge are different rimming salts. Smoked sea salt, celery salt or some other tasty combinations are just great for adding in your Bloody Mary, or in your food. Rich taste and wonderful aroma will make a great difference. Buy small packages to start with, and a large one when you decide about your favorites.

These nicely balanced flavors are really easy to use, and you can add exactly enough to suit your taste. Available in smaller and larger packages, they can be safely stored in your refrigerator, always ready to help you prepare your favorite drink. You just have to add your favorite tomato juice and one good quality vodka brand. So, prepare large glasses and some ice cubes, and enjoy.
