The Use Of Gluten Free Gum Substitute Helps Prevent Unfavorable Symptoms

By Jose Harris

Individuals who are suffering from celiac disease and gluten sensitivity should carefully mind what they put in their mouths every single time. That's because consuming the wrong types of foods can cause all sorts of unfavorable symptoms to strike afterwards, many of which are debilitating enough to disrupt a person's day. It is a good idea for those who are into baking to use gluten free gum substitute to avoid encountering the various problems discussed below.

Abdominal aching. A common telltale signs that an individual is allergic or intolerant to gluten is pain in the stomach. The kind that's usually experienced by most is described as cramping, something that's quite difficult to bear. More often than not, abdominal aching is exacerbated by bloating which is the result of excessive gas in the intestine.

Bowel changes. It's not unlikely for diarrhea to be experienced as well after the ingestion of the wrong types of food. Diarrhea is a digestive problem that should not be taken lightly. If it's not put under control right away, there is a possibility for the individual to end up dehydrated. According to health authorities themselves, severe dehydration can cause brain damage, seizures and even death if it's left uncontrolled. Instead of diarrhea, some people may encounter constipation.

Joint and muscle pain. There are two different known reasons why the affected person may experience aching of his or her joints as well as muscles. First, doctors say that it's due to the excitation of the nervous system, something that can considerably increase the individual's pain perception. Second, inflammation taking place inside the body can cause the joints and muscles to become achy and stiff, too.

Chronic fatigue. Due to the inflammation taking place inside the body, the person may become easily drained of energy. That's because his or her body is focusing all of its fuel reserves into the healing process. Anemia is also a very common problem that may come into being sooner or later. Doctors say that there are many signs and symptoms associated with anemia, and one of those is fatigue as the muscles are not supplied with enough oxygen.

All kinds of skin issues. The problem may be digestive in nature alright, but your skin is not spared. After consuming trigger foods, you may develop red and itchy bumps all over. Dermatologists confirm that it's possible for you to experience flaring up of dermatitis or eczema. A certain form of baldness, by the way, may bug you as well.

Depression and anxiety. The mood of the person may be affected as well. Some people report of having a lot of disheartening thoughts and other symptoms associated with depression after the consumption of trigger foods. There are those who feel anxious instead. Health authorities say that brain fog may be experienced as well.

Unintended weight loss. There are different reasons why affected people may shed off a few pounds unintentionally. Inflammation going on inside the person's body can be blamed for it. Such can also be caused by the failure of the digestive tract to absorb nutrients in food.
